IRS Direct Pay is a free way to pay your Form 1040-ES, Estimated Tax for Individuals, taxes. To meet the Sept. 17 deadline, you should make your payment through Direct Pay by 8 p.m. Eastern time, Sept. 16.
With Direct Pay, you can view details on your payment and you can change or cancel your payment using the Look Up a Payment feature up to two business days before the payment date.

• pay the balance on your Form 5329, Additional Taxes on Qualified Plans (Including IRAs) and Other Tax-Favored Accounts.
• pay your Affordable Care Act shared responsibility payment with your amended 2014 tax return or in response to an audit adjustment, IRS notice or installment agreement.
